Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it.
Last updated: June 2026. Please confirm the effective date and the Designated Officer details (marked below) before publishing, and have this policy checked by a practising advocate.
- We collect only what we need to respond to you and provide care.
- Health details you share are treated as sensitive and handled with extra care.
- We never sell your personal information.
- You can access, correct, or delete your information, and withdraw consent, at any time.
- Questions or complaints go to our Designated Officer (details at the end).
1. Who we are
Global Sai Health Care ("we", "us", "our") provides home healthcare services in Gurugram, Haryana. For the purpose of India's data protection laws, we act as the "Data Fiduciary" — the organisation that decides why and how your personal data is handled. You, the person whose data we hold, are the "Data Principal".
We handle personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, and — to the extent they apply — the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its Sensitive Personal Data or Information Rules, 2011.
2. The information we collect
We collect information you give us directly when you contact us through our website forms, phone, WhatsApp or email. This usually includes your name, phone number, email address, and the details you choose to share about the patient and the care needed.
Because we provide healthcare, the details you share may include health information — such as a medical condition, diagnosis, or care requirement. This is treated as sensitive personal information (see Section 4).
We also collect limited, mostly anonymous usage data through cookies and website analytics (for example, pages visited and approximate location), to understand how visitors use our site and to improve it.
3. Why we collect it and how we use it
We use your information only for clear, stated purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry and call or message you back.
- To assess care needs and arrange and provide the right caregiver or service.
- To coordinate and supervise care, and keep in touch about it.
- To handle payments, feedback and complaints.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations.
We follow the principles of purpose limitation and data minimisation — we collect only what is needed for these purposes, and we do not use your data for unrelated reasons without asking you first.
4. Health and other sensitive information
Health information is sensitive and we treat it with extra care. We collect it only with your consent, use it only to provide and coordinate the care you ask for, share it only with the caregivers and team members who need it for that care, and keep it secure. We do not use health information for advertising.
5. Consent, and how to withdraw it
When you submit a form or contact us about care, you consent to us using your information as described here. Your consent is voluntary, and you can withdraw it at any time by contacting our Designated Officer (Section 12). Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. If you withdraw consent, we will stop the related processing, though it may mean we can no longer provide a particular service, and it does not affect anything already done lawfully before withdrawal.
6. Who we share it with
We share your information only as needed to serve you:
- Our caregivers and coordination team — so they can provide and supervise care.
- Trusted service providers (Data Processors) who work for us under contract — for example, our website form provider and analytics provider. They may process data on our behalf and are required to protect it and use it only for the services we ask of them.
- Authorities — where we are required to share information by law or to protect someone's safety.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. Some of our service providers may process or store data on servers outside India; where they do, we take reasonable steps to keep your data protected, in line with applicable law.
7. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and Google Ads) to understand site usage and improve your experience. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
8. How long we keep your information
We keep your personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. When the purpose is met or you withdraw consent, we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, unless a law requires us to keep it longer (for example, certain records may need to be retained for a minimum period).
9. How we protect your information
We take reasonable security steps to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access — including limiting who can see it and using secure tools. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to review our safeguards.
10. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct or update information that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erase your personal data where it is no longer needed.
- Withdraw consent at any time (Section 5).
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights on your behalf, for example if you are unable to do so.
- Grievance redressal — raise a complaint with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.
To exercise any right, contact our Designated Officer (Section 12). We will respond within the time required by law.
11. Children's information
We do not knowingly collect the personal data of a child (under 18) without the verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian, except where the law allows it for purposes such as providing healthcare. If care is being arranged for a minor, the parent or guardian should make the enquiry and provide consent. We do not use a child's data for advertising or tracking.
12. Data breaches
If a personal data breach occurs that affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law — explaining, in plain language, what happened, the likely impact, the steps we are taking, and what you can do to protect yourself.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the "Last updated" date shown at the top.
